FAQ's
This sounds great! But how much does all this cost?
We do have some costs involved in running the meetings
- crafts, refreshments, etc. However, MOPS wants to be available to every mother of preschoolers, so if money is an issue please let us know and we can work something out. See someone on Steering if
you have any questions.
There is a required annual fee of $20.00 for the MOPS International Membership, benefits including MomSense magazine, MOPS gift books, and more. Each local group also charges meeting fees to cover the costs of childcare, craft supplies, leadership training, and social events. MOPS of Central Assembly charges a $20.00 semester meeting fee, with the first semester's payment due by our first meeting. Again, if money is tight, please let us know and we can work something out.
How do I register?
Registration is easy. Simply download the Registration form and the MOPPETS registration form (one form per child), fill out the forms, and mail them back to Central Assembly along with your payment. If you prefer to receive the Registration forms by mail, send us an email or call the church office at 866-5013.
I have a 10 year old that I home school - can I bring
him too?
No. We do not have staffing for children over the
age of 6 (or old enough to be in kindergarten).
My Daughter threw up this morning, but I could really
use a break. Can I still come?
Sure - just leave your daughter with someone else.
We need to be considerate of others here, and bringing a child
that is sick to MOPS exposes other children and adults to illness.
